Requirements for This Role
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following Texas requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Texas SLP License issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulation

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs considered

Experience providing services to bilingual or English Language Learner (ELL) populations preferred
Job Duties
As a school-based SLP, youll work closely with students, educators, and families to provide targeted therapy and support. Duties include:

Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments

Designing and implementing therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

Providing bilingual therapy sessions and linguistic support across multiple grade levels

Collaborating with educators, psychologists, and special education teams

Documenting progress, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance with district and state standards
